Via satellite
The vast majority of data transmission through MSTelcom is supported by satellite-based communications, and we operate on the so-called "C Band" and "KU Band".

SDH
Terrestrial communications via radio is covered by our SDH - a reliable telephony line that guarantees phone access along the road Luanda-Lobito.

Pre-paid phone card
Recently MSTelcom introduced a pre-paid phone card to be used with conventional and public telephones. The 70 UTT card costs 300 Kwanzas and can be purchased at retailers throughout the country.

NGN Technology
On September 2005, MSTelcom did the first functionality test for the NGN (Next Generation Network) system. This service will give end-users simultaneous direct access to voice, video and data on public kiosks. The project is the result of a joint partnership with Huawey.

On the first phase of its implementation the service will only be available to Sonangol Group. A posteriori it will also be made available to ministries business groups and to oil companies.
