Our radio coverage services are available in the provinces where the Sonangol Group may have business interests. MSTelcom uses the following types of radio technology:

• Radio Trunking.
• Conventional Radio.

HF/SSB international network for terrestrial, mobile, aeronautical and maritime bands
It's a national and international long-range radio communications system, using ionosphere electromagnetic wave reflection for the transmission of low-speed voice and data signals through 125W or 1000W-powered transmitters.

Maritime VHF network
A local range communications system with a coverage radius of the size of a city for portable equipment, and up to 40km for equipment installed in cars, boats or fixed on the ground. this service is available in the following coastal cities: Cabinda, Soyo, Luanda, Porto Amboim, Lobito, Benguela and Namibe.

Aeronautical VHF network
A ground-to-air communications system of variable range, with a coverage radius from 40km to about 200km, depending on the aircraft's altitude.

Ground Radio Repeater UHF Network
A local range ground communications system with a coverage radius of the size of a city for portable equipment, and up to 40km for equipment installed in cars or fixed on the ground

Radio-Trunking System
A system that uses electromagnetic wave propagation for the transmission of low-speed voice and short data messages. It also uses radio terminal address code exchange switching, similar to the workings of a phone central which allows traffic to be divided into conversational groups, maintaining privacy within the group while also allowing direct radio to radio, or radio to fixed phone private calls.

This service is available in the cities of Soyo, Luanda, Lobito and Cabinda.
